Things I Like and Things I Hate

You should have already noticed that my car is my main hobby, and cars in general are what I'm really interested in. Hopefully I'll make a successful career doing something in the automotive industry, but until then, it'll just be something that I like to do in my spare time. Here are some other things that I like to do, or things that peak my interest:

Music: I like it loud, and it has to be clear! I like just about everything, but not Country or HillBilly shit. My Top-Ten Favorite artists are... Eminem, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Cash Money Millionarres / Big Tymers, ICP, Twiztid, Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Chili Peppers, and of course a lot of other rappers, classic rock bands, alternative etc. If you check out my car page, you'll realize I don't skimp on audio components! As far as concerts, I've been to a bunch over the years, but I must say that my favorite was Marilyn Manson back in 1998 in Poughkeepsie, NY. We snuck a camera and even took video of it that came out great. Then I met some girl that knew the band and got me a backstage pass! Read more about the show here.

Girls: My girlfriend Katherine. I was single for a few years and dated girls here and there, but now I can finally believe the old saying of how good things come to those who wait. She captured my heart and knows how to make me happy. I love you baby!

TV Shows: My favs... Seinfeld, Friends, MTV Cribs, BET's How I Live, Beavis and Butthead, South Park, Everybody Loves Raymond, Frazier. I also like the History channel, MTV2, Nick at Nite, blah blah blah. I don't like a quiet house, so there's usually always a TV or stereo on for some background noise.

Outdoors: Before my injury in 1995, I was rarely ever indoors. It didn't matter if the temperatures were sub-zero or over 100, rain or snow, AM or PM, I'd either be riding my 4-wheeler's, roadbike's, bicycle's, driving, on my boat, or just working on something. I played baseball and basketball when I was in elementary school, but I got tired of sports and started working at the early age of about 12, handling 2 pretty big newspaper routes and then working for my brother's landscaping business at age 13 until around age 20. I still love the outdoors, but I need to be careful of the temperature, especially in the summer. This is probably the hardest thing that I needed to adjust to both physically and mentally! If you're wondering how the temperature affects me, check out my body temperature regulating page that I wrote up for other people with spinal injuries and people who might know someone with a spinal injury. As long as I can deal with the temp, I'll be outside doing whatever there is to do!
