1980 Chevy Blazer K5. (my 1st vehicle).
When I was 14, My brother was selling his Blazer. I figured I should buy it because it had a plow and hitch on it and being that I worked for him, doing landscaping in the summer and plowing in the winter, this would be a good thing to have. Well, by the time I was almost 16, I was tired of looking at it sitting in the driveway. Magically one of my coworkers brought his nova to work one morning, and we both wanted something different. So, we traded and he gave me $350 on top of that. That's how I got my Nova (stupid financial mistake), but more fun than the Blazer woulda been. |

1973 Chevy Nova. (my 2nd vehicle).
I bought this car when I turned 16. Little did I know it was in pretty bad shape. Within the first few weeks of owning it I sunk about $2,000 into the suspension, brakers, bushings, and electrical system. When I was 18 I started stripping the body down to bare metal, chooping out any rust and/or putty, welding in all new metal, and painting it French blue Mica. In the time I owned it, this car had 3 motors and 2 trannies in it. I bought the Corvette pictured below when I was 19, and sold the Nova |

1984 Plymouth Horizon.
After blowing the 1st motor in my Nova, I needed to buy something cheap yet reliable. So I bought this Horizon (see it in the background). Probably the best $500.00 I ever spent! I beat on this thing for 2 years, and it ran great. I sold it for $1,200.00... not bad huh?

1980 Chevy Corvette.
When I was 19 I blew the 2nd motor in my Nova. Rather than fixing it, I figured I would set it aside and buy my brothers corvette since he was selling it. He wanted $12,000, so I offered him $9,000 and he obviously went for it. I re-did the interior and entered the car in 2 shows. The first show I got 2nd place out of 28 mild custom Vette's, and the following show I got 3rd place out of 12 Vette's. I sold it right before I turned 21 to help me pay for moving to Arizona to go to Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in 1995. |

1983 and 1985 Suzuki GS550e's.
In late 1994 I signed up for Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, AZ. To save up money I sold the Corvette and bought a shitty 1983 GS550e. A few weeks later I bought a 1985 GS550e that had a blown motor, swapped my 83's motor into it, and this was the result. If you look past this bike, you'll see in the background what's left of the '83.

1987 Honda TRX250x.
In 1988 I bought this '87 250x for $1,700. By 1990 it had about $3,000 into it between the motor work and all the racing pieces I bought for it, like a widened durablue axle, exhaust, suspension, alumilite handlebars, etc. I lived on this thing every day after school all year round. I gotta say that this was the #1 toy of my life... the boat was really fun too, but that was a moneypit compared to this. You can see my Corvette in the background, this picture was taken before I bought the Vette off my brother. I'm hoping to find a better pic of the 4 wheeler that shows it fully modded, but I don't think I have many others.

1995 Mercury Mystique GS.
In August 2002 before I got my custom Mystique basck on the road, I wanted to find a car to use on rainy days and throughout the winter. I picked this car up for real cheap because the guy said the tranny was on its way out. Well, it lasted as long as I needed it to and I ended up selling it about 11 months later after I bought my Accord and dropped the Prelude motor in it. I still see this Mystique driving around town here every day. This GS was the v6/auto model. I swapped out the door panels with my 98 Mystique because they were in much better condition.
